Hayden’s just won the girls’ division of a local snowboarding competition—her first step toward going pro someday. Her friends are thrilled! Her girlfriends, that is. The guys are a different story. They say her win wouldn’t amount to much if she had to compete against boys. She couldn’t even beat an average boarder.

Leading the attack is Hayden’s ex, Nick. At least, she calls him her ex, but that’s wishful thinking. Probably he barely remembers their torrid seventh-grade affair, which ended with one deep kiss shared in the back row of the movie theater, and a highly publicized break-up. Now they’re juniors in high school. Nick has grown tall, muscular, and hot. He flirts with Hayden and teases her constantly in class. Beyond that, he doesn’t seem interested.

Until now. Hayden calls Nick’s bluff and challenges him to a head-to-head boarding contest. The girls take Hayden’s side, the boys take Nick’s, and soon it’s an all-out battle of the sexes.
